Part Enhancement

RT/Dygert is able to enhance the surface of the parts in order to improve workability in your application.  We offer three different enhancement services on the parts we sell.

Color Coding:   Since O-rings of different compounds also look alike, RT/Dygert offers numerous colors for part identification through dotting.  We can dot parts to assure the correct compound is used for a given application, for inventory control of expensive parts such as Viton® ETP, or for making sure the correct size of O-ring is used. 

Powder Coating:  This process is primarily used in conjunction with an automated manufacturing process.  RT/Dygert is capable of powder coating parts with several friction reducing substances, which greatly aid part flow in automated processes.  Coatings available include talc, silicone, molybdenum disulfide (Moly), and Teflon® powders. 

Part Washing:  Often parts are coated with lubricants to free them from the mold.  RT/Dygert is able to wash parts to remove surface grease, silicone, foreign matter, or bloom that may interfere with your assembly process.
